Responsibilities As a Spray Foam Insulation InstallerAs a spray foam insulation installer, your primary duty will involve spraying the exterior walls and attics prior to the installation of drywall, paneling, or plaster. Your daily tasks may include:
Loading and logging materials onto a truck
Erecting ladders and scaffolds
Checking netting for blocking areas and preparing the spray foam machine
Operating equipment to inject foam insulation using a hose of up to 150 feet in length
Inspecting density in wall areas
Key Qualifications For SuccessTo excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
2-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with insulation installation experience considered a bonus
A valid driver's license
Safety PrecautionsAs a spray foam insulation installer, you will be required to ensure safety through the following measures:
Working in confined or elevated spaces
Lifting a minimum of 60 lbs
Climbing ladders and scaffolding
Performing frequent bending, twisting, and turning movements
