Is the Darkmoon Bow good? ›

At base stat requirement, the Darkmoon Bow does less damage than other bows, for better damage its recommended to use Moonlight arrows, but those are also the most expensive arrows.

The Darkmoon Bow can be forged by the Giant Blacksmith with the Soul of Gwyndolin and a +10 bow, along with 5,000 souls.

Its a different playstyle but definately viable. Same goes for "normal" bows. Thats one of the cool things about Dark souls, you literally can use anything and finnish the game... if ure good enough :D. it takes more time but plenty of enemies, and bosses, can be cheesed by using a bow and arrow.

Overview. Darkmoon Blade is an extremely powerful weapon augmentation that massively increases the damage output of a player.

This bow is only granted to you by Princess Zelda upon facing off against your arch-nemesis, Ganon. But the fact is that, in the course of this singular event, the Bow of Light is simply the most powerful bow in the game, bar none. It comes with a beastly 100 attack, 100 durability, and 500 range.

The Dwarven Black Bow of Fate is a weapon added to Skyrim in the Dragonborn DLC, and it has the strongest effect of any bow you can craft or obtain. This weapon's effect gives you a 50 percent chance to take 25 points of HP, stamina, and magicka from a damaged enemy.

Even while Daedric bows only deal 18 points of damage at basic, they have a greater range and more arrows than Dragonbone bows. In addition to traditional physical harm, they may also cause damage via elemental means.

What is the best PvE bow in Dark Souls? ›

For lightweight + quick shots + great range, you'll want the Black Bow of Pharis. That's easily the best PvE bow. Use feather arrows for long range, large for close. Of course, if you want damage, you'll want one of the greatbows.

Sunlight Blade adds 1.8x the equipped talisman's magic adjust in Lightning Damage to the equipped weapon. This makes it potentially the second-strongest weapon augmentation after only Darkmoon Blade if the wielder is on +1 or higher level in the Blade of the Darkmoon covenant.

The Bullseye is the Unique variant of the Compound Bow weapon. As a Bow, it works differently compared to the other weapons available in the game. Compared to the stock Compound Bow, the Bullseye has better stats in almost every category, especially its range.

There are lots of bows to choose from, but arguably the best is the Compound Long Bow, which can be upgraded to the Sticky Compound Long Bow - the most powerful bow in the game. Though, you don't need to do that to enjoy its benefits, even a few hours into Demon's Souls.
